Beautiful mountain scenery here and wonderfully cool after the Nevada Desert.  Apparently a better time to visit is autumn to miss the crowds!

    There was a managed fire in the park while we were there.  You can see the smoke in this photo.  Unfortunately it made taking photos difficult in some places because of all the smoke.

    Yosemite falls from Glacier Point.

    Roberta's favourite place in Yosemite.  It was almost deserted!

    The water meadow was covered with flowers of all different kinds.

        Got a bit carried away with the photos here!

    The meadow was also home to tons of beautiful butterflies.

There is also a grove of giant sequoias in Yosemite at Mariposa Grove.  These are the largest trees outside Sequoia National Park.
