This cat is trying to get some relief from the summer heat by finding some shade
to sleep in.
This is a small shop that sells tea in Kagurazaka, near where we live. All
of a sudden one day, this marvelous contraption appeared outside. We think
it was being used to dry fresh tea leaves because of the wonderful smell.
However we could be wrong .......
A lot of restaurants in Tokyo have interesting chalk boards outside them.
We thought this one was really excellent.

We saw this monk in Shijuku Station. He was such a contrast to all the
other hurried and harried people.
Sometimes the street in front of Isetan Department Store in Shinjuku is
closed. On one of those days, we saw these guys doing some amazing
skipping.

A really cute little dog at a cafe in Omote Sando. All the dogs we have
seen in Tokyo are beautifully kept and cared for. A lot of them have funky
outfits like this one!
